Google last week announced the addition of video and voice chat features to Gmail. This latest addition is just another in Google’s busy schedule of late.
Gmail is the first of the webmail based providers to add this functionality. Before you can get busy using this feature you must download a plugin. You will need a Windows XP or newer operating system or Mac OS X 10.4 as well as a browser that supports the latest version of Gmail.
Google App users will also have access to the video and voice chat features.
Here is the video announcing the feature.
But wait there’s more.
Gmail has added a new range of themes to allow you to customise your Gmail experience. The themes range from scenic natural vistas to funky themes like Ninja.

What’s your theme? Everybody loves to customise there desktop, Gmail is no exception.
Now I just have to decide whether I want a serene peaceful theme or Ninja.
